Percentage Formulas Explained

Percentage of a number: (Number × Percent) ÷ 100. What percent: (Part ÷ Whole) × 100. Percentage change: ((New − Old) ÷ Old) × 100 — a positive result is an increase, negative is a decrease. All calculations happen in your browser instantly.
