Mean (average) is the everyday choice: total divided by count. Use it for grades, expenses, and most everyday calculations. Average = Sum of all values ÷ Number of values. For example: your five test scores are 85, 92, 78, 95, and 88. Sum = 438. Count = 5. Average = 438 ÷ 5 = 87.6. The calculator also sorts your list for the median and counts repeats for the mode - all in one paste.
