Paste your numbers below - separated by commas, spaces, or new lines - and get the mean, median, and mode instantly.
Type or paste your numbers into the box - the results update live as you type. Numbers can be separated by commas, spaces, or line breaks, so you can paste a column straight from Excel or Google Sheets. Decimals and negative numbers work fine.
Mean (average) is the everyday choice: total divided by count. Use it for grades, expenses, and most everyday calculations. Median is the middle value of the sorted list - it ignores extreme outliers, which is why house prices and salaries are usually reported as medians (one billionaire in the data doesn't distort it). Mode is the most frequent value - useful for finding the most common shoe size, test score, or order quantity.
Students average their test scores and assignment marks. Teachers average class results. Small businesses average daily sales, order values, and expenses. Sports fans average player statistics. Anyone comparing prices averages quotes. Because the calculation runs entirely in your browser, your numbers never leave your device - paste financial data with confidence.
Average = Sum of all values ÷ Number of values. For example: your five test scores are 85, 92, 78, 95, and 88. Sum = 438. Count = 5. Average = 438 ÷ 5 = 87.6. The calculator also sorts your list for the median and counts repeats for the mode - all in one paste.
